A two-year program for principals in their first three years. Includes tailored learning, executive coaching and networking with experienced principals.
A two-year program for deputy principals working towards becoming principals. Includes tailored learning as a result of 360-degree feedback, intensive residential learning and mentoring.
A two-year program for senior school leaders and their middle leadership teams. Involves school-based inquiry to build teacher capacity to lead improvement in schools.
Leadership Expert Advisory Group
ISQ's leadership programs have been developed with support and input from leading educational researchers Professor Emeritus Brian Caldwell, Dr Ben Jensen, Associate Professor Lisa Ehrich and Dr Barbara Watterston.
The Leadership Expert Advisory Group will also include experienced school leaders from the independent sector.
Members will meet regularly to ensure ISQ's leadership programs meet the diverse needs of the independent sector and are reflective of excellent practice.
All ISQ leadership programs are aligned with Australian Professional Standard for Principals and the capabilities of the principal role including:
- leading teaching and learning
- developing self and others
- leading improvement, innovation and change
- leading the management of the school
- engaging and working with the community
