Step four – accreditation (NSSAB Checklist)
Without accreditation the school cannot commence operations

Commence this process with familiarisation of all sections of the New Non-State Schools form. The form can be accessed on the Non State Schools Accreditation Board (NSSAB) website by link below. This will enable the gathering of the relevant information required to complete the form.
Accreditation with NSSAB is mandatory and will facilitate one or both of the following:
- provisional accreditation as a non-state school under the Education (Accreditation of Non-State Schools) Act 2001 (the ‘Accreditation Act’); and
- Where applicable, eligibility for government funding status under the Accreditation Act.
