Australian Education Awards
Queensland independent schools took out six of the 22 categories contested at the 2019 Australian Education Awards.
The event confirmed the quality and calibre of education on offer at Queensland independent schools.
Five exceptional independent schools were named award winners from a field of more than 170 finalists in 22 education categories:
St Paul’s School | Australian School of the Year and Non-Government Primary School of the Year
Ormiston College | Innovation in Curriculum Design
St Margaret's Anglican Girls School | Boarding School of the Year alongside Wesley College in Perth
St Andrew's Anglican College | Best Co-Curricular Program
Saint Stephen’s College |Best School Strategic Plan
A further 13 Queensland independent schools had also been in the running for the national awards, after being named finalists.
